I bought my GTX 230 from this dealership after having an issue with another dealer in the area. The process was easy and painless. I sat down with a rep and added all of the accessories I was after, making the unit better equipped than a limited edition. They got all of the accessories installed and I was able to take delivery of the unit in very little time.After 35 hours of riding, I had an issue with my Garmin's transducer not sending depth info to the unit. I brought the GTX in to the dealer and Xavier let me know it would be between 3-5 days as they might have to order parts. They were able to get it back to me in just two days, allowing me to get back out on the water that very weekend. I was very happy with the fact that a realistic expectation had been set for the work and then they exceeded those expectations. Once I hit the water, the GTX popped a couple of fault codes and I had to pull her back out of the water. Xavier and the guys were able to sort the issue out in a single day and I will be back out on the water this weekend!Things happen in life, there is not much we can do about that, but it is nice to know there is a place to go and get these kinds of issues sorted out quickly and reliably. I am one very satisfied customer!

If the last 20 years of my motorcycle life were recorded, Tampa Bay Powersports would be the only dealer left in business, if what was measured was doing the right thing. I've been riding for just shy of 45 years, 25 of which have been local in Tampa Florida. My most recent example is something that's unheard of at any shop, but once again they rised to the occasion. I'm going to start by saying that I am a Honda fan, that due to being ripped off by their direct competition, I almost kicked Honda to the curb. I'll let you decide where to shop. At the local Honda competition, I bought a used Honda that I thought would need tires soon. I offered $600 over the asking price for the bike for the purpose of having a $600.00 credit for the purpose of putting new tires on the bike when needed. They accepted my offer and collected the $600 during the purchase. This is called sales vs stealing. If a salesman does such a good job selling something to you for $20,000, that list for $18000.00, that's called being really good at what they do. When you pay an extra $600 via contract more for a vehicle for tires later, and they just keep the money, that's called stealing. That's exactly what happened. I was hit by a car at 55 on I275, and the bike was totaled 3 months later. I tried to get them to honor the Due Bill on my next bike. They acted like they never met me, and literally stole my $600.00. Now I Purchased a Honda F6B from a great dealer, in St. Pete. The only reason I didn't buy from Tampa Bay Powersports is simply because they didn't have the used Honda F6B. My first visit to them is a story in itself. But I have done business with the service department with 3 different bikes at 3 different times. The first is most memorable because I had an older Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad that they were the only dealer that would work on it. So now it's time to compare. On Thursday, I was at work, just happened to look out the window and notice my rear tire looked very low on air. I topped it off, rode to Tampa Bay Powersports, explained that I needed a tire, but was also needing to get back to work asap. I'll just say that I left an hour later, with a new Michelin, and they (as usual) treated me like gold. I've had service done on 3 different bikes, and none of which I purchased from them, just due to bad timing. Xavier, and the entire service team never treated me any different because I didn't buy from them. Every rider knows that is so rare. I've done business with almost every local place over the last 20 years, and as far as I'm concerned, only 2 have been worth the time of day. One would be Roy behind the University mall who did great work for years, but unfortunately covid put him out of business, and Tampa Bay Powersports. Based on 20 years of my local experience, I DARE you to go anywhere else

I own a 2012 Goldwing and TB Powersports does an excellent job with servicing my bike. I continue to purchase all my supplies from them, have bought a Shoei helmet, and recently, purchased a Honda Monkey. I had some buyer's remorse re: this purchase and Chad Izzard, Jose the salesman, and John, the finance guy all were very understanding and accommodating.

David Grant was terrific to work with. We both had military experience and held a general conversation both during the paperwork and while waiting for the bike to get final servicing before he helped me load it. I came in late and he stayed past closing to assist with the full experience. All employees where upbeat and acknowledge me numerous times when I was just circling the store looking at other things while David was moving my sale along.

I went to this place looking for jet ski oil and Ian Payette provided me with the best customer service. He helped me find the right oil and explained to me how I should do it. Recommend it!

I just recently bought a 1997 Suzuki 800 Intruder from this dealership. I've had the bike for over a week and I'm absolutely loving it! I already put over 300 miles on it and I've been cruising all over the place. No issues with the bike at all and it runs perfectly and I got it for a great price. The sales staff and the people who take care of the financial aspect of everything were VERY easy and pleasant to work with and VERY knowledgeable about all aspects of everything involved with buying a motorcycle. I bought a used 2006 Victory.

The sales experience was smooth and straightforward. There was a minor misunderstanding after the sale and Sales Manager Chad Issard, got it resolved without any problem. I have owned 21 bikes in my lifetime and TBPS is the absolute best dealership with whom I have ever dealt. I live in the Daytona area and the dealerships here are generally not worth doing business with. I drove completely across the state and it was well worth it. I would give them six stars if it was possible.

I have purchased several motorcycles as well as parts and accessories from this dealership over the years but very recently traded in an Africa Twin for a new NM4. This bike is perfect for a guy who has ridden from age 14 to my current age of 71. A great part of my experience was working with Alison Foreman a new sales associate with the dealer. She is a special person who could not have been more helpful and informative during the transaction. This 23 year old young lady is going places. Go in and ask for her help.

I recently purchased a another motorcycle from them. (Write-up on that experience on another comment post). I'm adding this comment to address the parts and accessories staff.

The staff at the back counter is awesome!!! I've used them for years and they never come up short. They are extremely friendly, take as long as needed to discuss and/or find parts and accessories that you need. And even go the extra distance by physically walking out and installing simple accessories themselves!

I give them 4 Stars for their Accessory Department, NOT because of the staff, but because it would be nice to have a little more variety to look at. Sure, you can always find cheaper on the internet but I was raised to support your local businesses and if the service provided is a little more expensive then you pay the extra! Because there's other benefits that you cannot get from the internet. Either way, if they don't have it...they WILL get it for you!

Joel is great! Full of information and enjoy his conversations! Jon and I have discussed different brands to the point we're both having fun testing things out. Kyle takes his time to find exactly what's out there. And Brandon loves to tell you about alternatives that you may not have even known about!

First, let me inform that I have been a custormer at TBPS for a few years now.

Last week I went to Tampa Bay Powersports looking to trade in one of my motorcycles. Using TBPS website I figured to take a shot on one of their V-strom's. It was listed for a little more than I wanted to pay, and I had another offer for a similar bike from another dealership.

Since I've dealt with TBPS before I always like to give them a chance to counter offer. This same experience happened 2 years ago when I bought my Honda...they came in for a newer model, for a lower price!

LSS...TBPS had 3 bikes I was interested in. One of those was much higher in price than I wanted and seriously never thought there'd be any variation in price. Needless to say, Christian worked with me, was EXTREMELY patient, "discussed" differences and allowed me a lot of time to think things through. Kyle came out with some numbers that were incredible! Between the 3 of us, we worked out a price that, I feel, was like no other!

I rode away on a BRAND NEW, 2018 Kawasaki Versys that I NEVER would have thought possible!!! I am SOOO pleased with this store! Once again, they came in lower...for a more expensive newer motorcycle!!! Can't emphasize enough how good TBPS is with getting you what you want, at the price that's way better than other stores in the area!

I purchase a new 2016 F3-t limited on 8-4-17 and Chris Brown was our sales person. He was very knowledgeable about the product, gave us a fair deal and installed a custom torsion bar as part of the deal. He provided me with a thorough walk around and explanation of the vehicle upon delivery. This dealership hard the best prices in the state and were very up front with vehicle and warranty prices when I contacted them via email before hand.

From our first phone call to Josh to the end of the transaction we could not have been treated better. There was no sales pressure. Jon in parts was wonderful with outfitting us with helmets and all necessary gear. Dale the manager was very willing to work with us to get the deal we wanted. I just purchased my third motorcycle from Tampa Bay Powersports. The two previous bikes were a Goldwing and a ST1300. I drove from the Jacksonville, FL area back to Tampa (just over 200 miles) to buy this bike because I had always been treated fairly in the past and I was sure I would be treated right this time. Health reasons forced me to scale down to a smaller bike and this time I got a 2015 Rebel. Eddie Santos in Sales was very helpful and we worked out a deal via e-mail and the phone to the satisfaction of both of us. The deal when I arrived was exactly, to the penny, as we had agreed on. Kyle Jackson in Parts was very helpful in selecting a set of saddlebags. The Service department installed the saddlebags for me at no charge. The General Sales Manager, Dale Hoffbauer, was very helpful in the process. All the paperwork ready when I arrived and that part of the transaction was easy. I had my insurance paperwork faxed to Tampa bay Powersports and they printed it out so I would have proof of insurance on my way home. I have had the bike for about a month now and love it. Its not my Goldwing but it is a bike that suits me now.

Had a good experience working with Chad & Chris where I traded my 2014 CTX700 for a new NM4. I was very pleased with the overall transaction and would do business with them again. Now... Just a word about the NM4, it is as if I commissioned Honda to build a custom motorcycle just for me. Tampa Bay Powersports has been an excellent experience! Recently purchased a 2015 Honda CTX700 from them. I was quoted a great price and trade-in from another dealership. If it wasn't for the staff at TBPS I would have pulled the trigger there. But I gave them a chance and they came through, even better than what I had already thought was a good deal.

Staff is friendly and the service mechanics are great, willing to show me what they're doing and explaining everything in detail.

Sales staff is very knowledgable about all of their cycles, as well as the competition. They are easy-going and prefer you (the customer) find something that fits YOU! They don't push any make or model and have a good sense to let a bike sell itself.
